Poverty Eradication and Life Empowerment Program (PELEP) is a registered Non-Governmental Organization with the NGO coordination board under the NGO act, which aims to alleviate poverty by empowering Women’s lives through social- economic initiatives. The Organization was established in 2012 and later registered with the NGO Coordination board in July 2013.
PELEP intervenes through last mile financing with interventions in Table banking. Financing women’s businesses, women who would otherwise not qualify for formal financing due to lack of collateral. Pelep provides mentorship and financing to grow businesses in the Micro and small business category.
